I have nothing but good to say about Cumberland Hall. I went in 2020 when they had a military side and found the treatment to be helpful. Everyone will complain about the food and sleeping arrangements but it’s not bad at all. You are there for treatment not to be comfortable. I enjoy that the staff has various backgrounds so it makes the DBT sessions to be helpful. The providers are nice and listen to you. This is not a bad facility, it’s what you make it. If you are there it’s for a reason ...

Definitely won’t be coming back here, there’s was constant fighting between the kids(adolescence and rainbows) and the staff doesn’t handle it as they should. while I was there, three girls got in a fight with someone else, and 3 of them ended up having fractured hands and bruising, the fight went on for almost an hour, constant screaming and slapping while the workers done nothing. not to mention it took 3 days for them to even get an X-ray. then, during an argument with some adolescents, on...

I had a friend crying and having a panic attack from other kids arguing, and the workers done nothing. Instead, one of the other adolescents had to calm her down, most of us had to calm each other down because the workers wouldn’t do anything. and one of the nights we had to get strip searched and i was very uncomfortable and instead of being calm about it and understanding, the girl was being rude towards me. not to mention, i heard the staff talking bad about some of the patients, or sometimes an adolescent and a staff member would talk bad about other patients together. and they day i was leaving, i had no idea until my family session. I asked multiple workers and my therapist about what day i was leaving(even the night before i left) and they would just shrug their shoulders. and my mom, and grandma would try to call and multiple times they didn’t get an answer. and there was one night i was at the front desk and one of the staff just sat there as the phone rung, and then after almost 5 minutes she picked up the phone, and hung up instantly. Not to mention, we were talking about self harm topics one day, and one of the staff made one of the adolescents stand up and ROLL UP THEIR SLEEVES and show their (recent) self harm scars to everyone, as she stood there crying asking if she can roll her sleeves back up. this place didn’t help me out at all. I learned better coping skills from the other adolescents in there with me. the staff didn’t teach me anything. but, I will give them one star because the food they gave us was actually good, but other than that I don’t recommend sending your child here, or checking yourself in here.

My fiance went there and I almost cried because it was so awful. Horror stories would be the only way to describe it. You don't get better, she had to lie to get out of there. There was a school shooter there that was scarily obsessed with her and the staff did not care one bit. The food was disgusting. Her roommate threatened to kill her when she woke up in the morning. One girl tried to say that she wasn't getting the help she needed that she was in fact getting worse, and the staff told he...

Please don't send your loved one's here it is a disgusting hurtful place that will only hurt them worse, if you love them at all DO NOT SEND THEM HERE. I believe that this place should be shut down. Its all so inhumane. Disgusting

This facility has been amazing in further helping our daughters mental health. Everyone we have dealt with has been beyond communicative and accommodating in making sure our daughter’s educational and personal needs come first and are taken care of.

The place was fairly clean. The staff was decent. Some good. Some great some were horrible. The food was decent. The beds and rooms were horrible. The meetings were all the same thing , over and over.It did get me on the right track. But had to begg and get a good doctor. I did check myself out and I'm doing great. I'll never go back to that hell hole again. If anyone wants to ask questions. Facebook me

Let me say that this one star is strictly for the CEO of this hospital. As a soldier, and as part of the PHP initiative through Fort Campbell, I attended this hospital to get better mentally. During my time here, I opened up about a sexual assault that I endured, and received backlash. I, along with staff members, asked the CEO multiple times to follow up with said CEO’s offer of having a conversation where this could be addressed, and it was not addressed.

Time and time again, for over a week, and even after I graduated PHP, I or staff members tried to contact this person to have a conversation about a violation of Army Policy(SHARP), and my dissatisfaction with the said incident. Not one time did the CEO set their title aside to speak with me, but multiple occasions kept pushing the conversation off to times to be determined or times in the future, forcing me to have to wait to be able to address this concern. Today, I reached out and again was given a rejection from this person, so I decided to escalate the issue so that it may be properly resolved. If you are struggling with the aftermath of sexual assault, based on the evidence I have been given firsthand, the CEO of this hospital does not care, and I would not deem this a safe space to talk about issues of that nature here. To make matters worse, said CEO, while informed and cognizant of my situation, had time to disseminate “leave a review” QR Codes, but couldn’t make the time in their schedule to talk to me about how I was ridiculed, mocked, and made fun of after opening up about a traumatizing experience.
WITH THAT BEING SAID here is a second review

I give five stars to the nurse, therapist, and MHT who all were instrumental in my healing process. They went out of their way to help with every situation that came up. They fostered an environment of inclusivity, diversity, and safety. I was able to be myself around them, and reminded constantly when I graduated, that my life has worth and meaning and that I’m not the sum of my mistakes. I learned so much about myself, and for the first time in years- since my last deployment, I was able to process the traumas that I experienced while in a combat zone. I would recommend that trio, Mary, Bri, and Misty, respectively, to anyone as they each independently and as a whole care so much about each person in PHP. My experience would have been completely different without them, and even with my negative experience with the CEO, they made sure I was taken care of, and they made sure I knew I deserved to be heard and take up space. I will forever be thankful for them, as they helped me rediscover my why for wanting to live. Thank you all for that.
