Just like all recovery based facilities - if you truly want to get clean then you will get clean no matter where you go. The environments are just assistive on your journey. That being said there are different levels of care in terms of amenities and procedures. Here at Crossroads, well, don't expect Passages of Malibu... Cuz it's not even close. Another reviewer referred to this place as "barbaric"... I definitely wouldn't go that far. I stayed 6 days to detox and I'm in no way traumatized. ...

They could give better and more plentiful food last time I was there breakfast was alright we got coffee fresh fruit cottage cheese seldomly milk, the rest of the day you only get iced tea and water nothing else. Sorry I am big on drinks and I don't want to sound like an entitled a hole but it is better than the street. If your insurance will pay for it go to Virtue, Desert Hope or Desert Parkway. In that order when it comes to food.

For a 24/7 call center it’s amazing how the front desk staff either 1. never answer the phone or 2. have an attitude if you dare question their authority when calling on the status of a loved one. They made me jump through hoops just to return my loved ones phone call & then the girl never relayed my message as I later found out. This place seems more like jail than a safe space for addicts to come seek help and receive HUMANE treatment. Terrible.

Their communication with family sucks!!! We called several times to talk with the caseworker and never received a call back. Now my brother is out on the street again and probably drinking already. There is no way he detoxed in four days - all the other times, he was in the hospital for 7-20 days. Very frustrating.

This place is wonderful. It's almost completely recovered addicts helping other addicts. The staff here saved my life and many of them feel like family to me now. If I needed to get my own children help, this is where I would try take them. Everyone here is working hard to help people get their lives back.

Singularly the worst addition to the neighborhood in decades. Since Crossroads moved in, the number of incidents in the area has noticeably increased both in the nearby residential and commercial spaces. I'm absolutely in favor of rehabilitation facilities and the good they can do for people. But this place has ZERO respect for their neighbors and clearly is not providing adequate or sufficient care for their clients. Seems nothing more than a patient mill with no regard for anything but ...

I came to drop my brother off and they took forever to start taking them in. They just leave people in the cold. If your purpose is to rehabilitate people you shouldn’t leave them in the cold when they come look for help.

Warning Do not come here. If I could negative Stars I would! I have never been so dehumanized in my life. Their intake process at the detox is nothing short of barbaric. You will sit out in the heat in some cases for over 10 hours. And deny acsess to a bathroom. And if you complain at all their staff will have an attitude with you for the remainder of your stay. The level of incompentence I experienced was abhorrent. Nothing happens on time. Meals appointments nothing. The staff there all hav...
