This is the main city hospital for the Greensboro and High Point area. There are multiple parking areas in the women's health and main entrance, but they get very full very quickly. The great thing is that the parking is FREE and people really need to appreciate that. It's tough having to be burdened to pay $10 or $20 dollars for parking every time you visit while dealing with a health crisis. They also go above and beyond by offering free valet parking in the Main Entrance A. You just ...

My daughter had to be admitted to the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit for a week. This was my first experience with Moses Cone. From the admitting department, all the way to her discharge I was thoroughly pleased with the care she received! Immediately upon arriving she was wheeled to the unit. Right away her nurse Janique came in and introduced herself and let us know she'd be taking care of my daughter. She was very pleasant and really engaged in conversation with us as she gathered the informati...

I've never liked having surgery at Moses Cone. Wesley Long is great. As I was being checked out, I told the nurse she could not use plastic tape I have an allergy to it it's in my chart and it was on my armband so she told me she'd be back in a minute. She came back and I was trying to look at her and a male nurse started yelling at me to look at him not her which was very rude and when I got in the car to come home I looked at my hand and she had covered it in plastic tape. When I got home w...

My Mom fell on Sunday 1/14 early in the morning and broke 2 ribs. She was transported to Moses Cone ER around 2:30 am. I want to give a shout out to the young lady that was our first contact upon entering the waiting room. Because of the 1 person rule, my 94 year old Dad sat inside where it was warm and I was outside. She was so kind. She would update him and then come to the door to update me. She did her job very well and is very kind and compassionate. I don’t recall her name but she...

If I could this place would have gotten 0 stars. First time be a medical facility and for it to be in the emergency room the bathrooms are filthy. I was here since 2 pm yesterday, there was caked up gunk on the toilets inside and out, they didn't get clean until 3:30 am. Then it took them over 13 hours just to tell someone they were fine a give them their paperwork. The nurses, knowing the bathrooms were filthy kept take patients to use them and not once repeat what us patients was saying abo...

My adult daughter was taken by ambulance from work to Moses Cone for terrible pain in her side. The ER was packed. She was triaged and sent to lobby almost looked like carriage she was in couldn’t sit straight and couldn’t stand. In ambulance she was given pain meds after several hours of waiting told 21 people still ahead of her . We left male nurse helped me get her into car. He said he felt bad could tell she was in so much pain. The next morning got her to her doctors. She had a blood clo...

The wait was a bit long, but I think it’s important to bear in mind the sheer volume of patients this hospital sees, and once I was finally taken back my doctor was quick, respectful, and everyone was incredibly kind. I ended up having to have emergency surgery, but I was made to feel safe and comfortable. Everyone from nurses to the surgeon were encouraging, patient, and understanding. Emergencies are never a good thing, but I’m grateful this emergency occurred where this hospital was the ne...

Left my mother, who has degenerative disc disease, in an excruciating position for hours until I arrived. Now her back will be out for a very long time, likely has permanent damage! Before I arrived, she called the nurse multiple times and was ignored for hours, then told there were "more important patients right now" when she asked what took so long. Further, nobody was interested in collecting her list of medications, no matter how many times she tried to give them. She kept asking "when ar...
