In order to provide the most effective outpatient services possible, Colonial Clinic mostly operates through a closed group system. This means that groups are formed, and clients within those groups remain with one another throughout this entire process, increasing trust and accountability within members. Clients also participate in services such as family-inclusive programs, educational services, gender-specific services, relapse prevention training, and various forms of counseling. These services work together to help clients form positive, trustworthy relationships with people experiencing similar situations. This allows them to work together to share stories, develop coping mechanisms, and hold one another accountable for their sobriety. The cost of care depends on the length of treatment and the services used, but Colonial Clinic does accept most forms of health insurance and self-pay.

Went to Colonial Clinic November 2020, and I am so incredibly grateful I found them. At the time I attended (I hope it's still the same to this day) they require attendance of an outside support group, and strongly suggest getting a sponsor. I followed the suggestions and am still with the same sponsor to this day (May 2023). Did Colonial fix my problems? No. But it was a great first step coming here. That's why I give them five stars, because they kick-started my lifelong recovery process.

When I joined under the old management it was a good place that seemed to care. It was a one year program with a graduation date. Now under the management of Breakthrough Clinic, they are garbage. Not only are the counselors uncaring, they run an insurance scam keeping you until THEY see fit. They forget their appointments then blame you. My attendance was not court appointed and was there under my own will. I decided on a personal recovery plan that did not include them and I was literally y...

This review may mean the difference between life and death of going to jail. Colonial's previous program and owner was great but is now under new management with a new director and in shambles. If you wanna stay clean and be incomplant with the courts, stay away

Colonial Clinic referred me to complete intensive outpatient after I completed my evaluation. This program was exactly what I needed at the time. Five days a week for 3 hours every morning was most impactful for my early recovery. Every person that I encountered, staff and others in the program, were all impactful in my recover in one way or another. I had no bad experiences, it was all positive. I would refer anyone needing a jump start on their recovery to start with Colonial Clinic.

I would recommend colonial clinic to anyone! I was impressed with how I was treated the moment I walked in the door the first time to my last day of completed treatment. I loved everyone of my counselors and connected greatly with Jessica. I will miss the center and all the support I received during my year of treatment! Again would recommend to anyone!!!!

I have researched or gone to all the other treatment centers in the area!! Colonial Clinic and it’s closed group therapy sessions and overall quality is by far the best!! In fact the others are an absolute joke compared to the Colonial Clinic and it’s Counselors!!! If you adhere to the rules and want to stay sober the colonial clinic is the answer

Never go to Colonial Clinic. They recommended just one step below inpatient for me. I’m court ordered , on medicade, so they really saw me coming. They gave me the IOP that is just one step below inpatient. Starting at 5 days a week 3 hours a day treatment for 5 weeks (I work btw and have other important things I have to attend to on a weekly basis so have no idea how they expect that out of me without loosing my job ect. Not a program meant for success but more to hinder) and 1 year of trea...
