The Cocaine and Alcohol Awareness Program is a non-profit, community-based organization that provides a variety of different programs and services, along with substance abuse services. CAAP provides community correction programs for nonviolent female offenders, inpatient services for homeless veterans, and DUI services. With regards to treating substance use disorders, CAAP offers assessments, individual therapy, group therapy, job placement, vocational training, GED preparation, chemical dependency education, life skills training, relapse prevention techniques, and random drug testing. Outpatient services include aftercare planning and anger management classes. With all of the services available through this addiction treatment center, clients have the opportunity to work with their treatment team to design a customized program fit specifically to them. The length of care that CAAP provides extends anywhere from 6 months to 2 years depending on the specific services provided.
