Worst place I've ever encountered. Falsifying data on federal forms to get federal funding. Refused to do medical exams that were necessary. I've now gotten those exams a year later finally and have been physically sick for a year longer than I needed to be with a disease that could potentially damage nerves, brain, eyes, cause dementia, etc. Had I listened to them, I would not have had this exam for 5 years and would have suffered 5 years longer instead of one year. Worst place I've ever encountered. Falsifying data on federal forms to get federal funding. Refused to do medical exams that were necessary. I've now gotten those exams a year later finally and have been physically sick for a year longer than I needed to be with a disease that could potentially damage nerves, brain, eyes, cause dementia, etc. Had I listened to them, I would not have had this exam for 5 years and would have suffered 5 years longer instead of one year. They flat out lied and told me Medicaid wouldn't cover it. Medicaid DID cover it with no problem. I've been offered no resources, no referrals, except for housing, but I was in my home, had a job, was working when I first went to them for help. I lost all that. Including my ESA Cats in their care. Became homeless for awhile in their care. My mental health is at its worst, in their care. I've repeatedly asked for copies of my SAFETYPLAN and can't get it. I've repeatedly asked for DBT, CBT, WRAP, the correct Counseling. They don't even have me diagnosed correctly. When they did diagnose me, with a life altering diagnosis I might add, it was via a 10 minute Zoom mtg, I was told to "google" my diagnosis and expected to be put on extremely strong medication. I refused to accept that information and have since been labeled a problem. Because I call them out on every mistake they have made with me. I've now been informed by VP, Ryan Carruthers, that I'm not even allowed to contact anyone there except my Caseworker. And I have trust issues because Sarah is the one who falsified the data on at least one Federal HUD FORM. They wouldn't even consider or offer help for my PTSD, which ive been diagnosed with for years. They refused to look at BryanLGH document diagnosing me with post concussive injury. I've now been accepted to Madonna Rehab for TBI, so I must display the symptoms. CP just left me out here hanging, dealing with all that. Oh, and don't tell your Counselor that you've been abused in horrible ways by men who have prior records, which led to the need for help in the first place. Because Aleah, the Counselor at the time, told me my abuser was, "invisible, in my head, not real." Even though there's a prior conviction for stalking. So he walks around free in Lincoln, NE feeling totally justified in doing what was done to me. Because when you are a CP client, the police won't even listen to you. And if you call for crisis help the options you receive will be totally ignoring you, telling you to go hospitalize yourself (God forbid you have a life you've just fought like hell for year to get back in order and cant manage to be hospitalized because it will cause you to potentially lose your job) or offer to have the cops come over and totally humiliate you with a wellness check. Because you are advocating for yourself and yours needs that aren't being met. Last I knew cops aren't mental health professionals. That's what CenterPointe is supposed to be there for. If there was proper support, people would not stay in a constant state of crisis. And this is just the tip of the iceberg. My goal is to have this facility and it's practices looked into on a Federal Level. From reading these reviews, I see i am NOT the only one having these issues. It seems to be the common theme lately. So, if all you can do today is find gratitude in something as simple as a smile or a kind hello, hang onto it. Keep your head up and keep advocating for yourself until you get what you need to be safe, happy and healthy!

Almost ended up homeless because my case manager kept rescheduling. She said she'd help me sign up/look at housing options, but we didn't get to have a single appointment. The only time we actually met up was the first time I met her, and that was before a month of rescheduling. Almost ended up homeless because my case manager kept rescheduling. She said she'd help me sign up/look at housing options, but we didn't get to have a single appointment. The only time we actually met up was the first time I met her, and that was before a month of rescheduling. For the times that she did show up, one time she arrived an hour early and left before our scheduled appointment time, not even notifying me until after she already left. And the other time she showed up to the wrong door (we were in a duplex) and said there were arrows pointing to 'our door' on the mailbox. And there weren't any arrows there. I did message her, asking 'let me know when you get here', but no response. When I realized she was waiting in the car, she was on her phone, so she should've seen my messages and calls. But she drove off before I could approach her, leaving before our scheduled appointment time. I just gave up after that. Reaching out to her anytime after that had a bad impact on my mental health. I was anxious, depressed, and overall hopeless. Luckily my mom was able to take me and my partner in (along with our cats) because we were two weeks away from being homeless.
It really hurts leaving this review. I really liked a lot of staff in the building. They were all so nice. But ever since they changed buildings, services went downhill.
Edit: i almost forgot to bring up my medication. I was unable to refill my prescription before i moved; it kept getting canceled. I moved states and I'm struggling to set up new insurance. I've been off my meds for 2-3 months now, (including my anti-depressants) and I'm really struggling mentally.

If you need help for mental health or medications, I absolutely recommend that you save yourself time and stress by not using their services. They do not return phone calls, will then make excuses to why they didn’t fill/send medications to the pharmacy, and will also blame you for not “giving them all the correct information” even after you told/gave them everything they asked for.

If you need help for mental health or medications, I absolutely recommend that you save yourself time and stress by not using their services. They do not return phone calls, will then make excuses to why they didn’t fill/send medications to the pharmacy, and will also blame you for not “giving them all the correct information” even after you told/gave them everything they asked for.
I had an appointment to get a prescription filled, which was never sent or filled in a timely manner by their “lead” psychiatrist, who said she sent the script in to be filled on the same day of the appointment. Called them for 4 days straight and still didn’t get a call back until I got one of my doctors involved- causing me to experience withdrawal symptoms. And even then, it took two more days to get any sort of response, which by then it was over an entire week before I heard anything back. Unprofessional and unacceptable, considering they know how important medications and services are to people with mental health needs.

Caseworker lies a lot, never answers the phone to talk about houses you found that accepted you. It’s been 2 years and still haven’t gotten anything from them that’s helpful just a waste of time.

Don't waste your time. This place helped me in the past about 3 or 4 years ago, but when I moved back to NE last year I got little to no help at all. They're understaffed and never answer their phone calls. It takes forever for anyone to hook you up with a resource. They said they would help but I lost my apartment because they were slow! I like that they help low income people. But that’s the only reason they get higher then one star. I think they were better before they moved to their new location. They didn’t bring call waiting with them apparently so you always have to leave a message now and the employees/receptionists that get paid to use the phone don’t call back. Don’t understand how they got a nice new facility but apparently got worse. I hope they change back to being better.
