My stay at Cenikor started out great and I was hopeful that I had finally found a treatment center that would work for me. My fellow inmates, uh, I mean patients were great. The regular staff we saw on a daily basis were also fantastic (special shout out to the kitchen manager, Ms. Shaun). As for the administrative staff and a majority of the nurses I dealt with, they left a bad taste in my mouth. Constant confusion with medication (not a good thing ever anywhere) and I honestly should've lef...

I had high hopes for Cenikor, I have heard a lot of good things about their facilities and their program. Maybe it's because I had such lofty expectations that I was so utterly disappointed. A majority of the staff seems jaded and a few were downright unprofessional - overheard more employees expressing annoyance towards certain clients (and sometimes even talking negatively about clients TO other clients) than anything positive and/or uplifting. Some of the BHTs seem to relish in their "auth...

I just graduated this program and I must say thank you Cinekor for saving my life! I was very sick and went through detox and then residential. The community was warm, we were able to go out to meetings several times a week, and they fed us well… even grilling outside on occasion! Thank you Cinekor!

Cenikor Tyler does not have the ability to facilitate rehab in the disabled. My disabled friend finally wanted to make a change for the better in his life. They were apprised of his situation before they accepted him into their program. After his intake, he was basically treated like an animal. There was no humane treatment from the staff at Cenikor. They abdicated their responsibility and dumped him in an ambulance. After the hospital gave him an examination and discharged him, Cenikor would...

I walked in and they made a room for me in detox and they tried to accommodate every need I had. I want to thank Jake Strain for all his help and for going out of his way to help me with every need I needed. I needed medicine for my mental issues and he went out of his way to try and get them for me. I would recommend going to this facility if you are needing help with addiction just because of him and a few staff members will go out of their way to help you with things that you may need. Mos...

I was at Cenikor 10/23/19-11/23/2019 and have remained sober since leaving. I love the program and staff, which all played a huge part in my recovery. I have since graduated college and am a practicing licensed chemical dependency counselor. If you are struggling with addiction I highly suggest Cenikor.

Cenikor adult center in tyler tx is definitely NOT the place it betrays itself to be. From the intake assessment to treatment. Please find another place for your family or loved ones. My dear friend has been battling alcoholism for many years. He is disabled with a few handicaps that Cenikor was very well aware of. They advertise to have a "medical detox" but this is not so. They could not handle the responsibility of taking care of my friend thru detoxing. I will not go through the whole n...
