I was here for 5 days during September for an attempt. I met a lot of really good people believe it or not. Everyone was so nice to me, not really the place you’d expect that from. I also had a lot of funny stories to tell my family after the fact. The staff in my experience were very nice and as caring as they could be. The ones I remember are Justin and I believe her name was Kelly, both were my favorites and were very sweet. It was a huge stepping stone for me and the therapy was also a HU...

Of course there are some unfavorable things, but this is not meant to be a vacation resort. The whole place is designed to protect you from yourself and others. While I believe I’ll never go through what I did again to get here in the first place, this place would be my first choice. Well done staff for working so hard to help others. You guys rock and don’t get enough credit for the stuff you have to go through there. Thanks for helping me.

I went here in December of 2021 and I was scared to post this 1. The nurses are exceptionally rude 2. I was treated as an addict when I had asked for something to calm my nerves I find that very offending because I’m not an addict…. 3. I was given more medication on my 3rd day I had a heart rate of 160 and a fever of 104!!!! when I asked for a rag (I was so hot) all the nurse did was take my temp and say I was fine! I MADE sure that I WILL never come back here!!!!I don’t care if my life is i...

Horrible place to stay and feels like a jail with how strict their rules are and how they treat patients. Staff screamed at me constantly, they drew blood from my hand twice, there was one day they conveniently forgot to tell me the shower was broken, and they completely ignored my very painful physical condition which requires a strict diet.

Staff screamed at me constantly, they drew blood from my hand twice, there was one day they conveniently forgot to tell me the shower was broken, and they completely ignored my very painful physical condition which requires a strict diet.
They also lied to me about medication they put me on, slammed doors loudly to trigger me when I was trying to sleep, took away my phone privileges for something that wasn't my fault, and threatened to call the police on me because I was having a PTSD panic attack. I was already traumatized enough as was and these people were professionals who were supposed to help me.
This hospital is one of the highest ranked in our state but staff thought that just because someone told them I experience psychosis that meant I wasn't deserving of being treated with kindness so I felt like I was less than human.
P.S. No, I am not contacting you and I was given much better care in this facility when it was owned by Deaconess Hospital. How this place still passes inspections is beyond me because I've stayed in other facilities with better treatment too.
This hospital was turned into a prison and just because we're mentally ill doesn't mean we deserve to be treated like inmates.
We don't get the help we need when they receive threats to call the police on us and I wasn't the only one that happened to.
I told them not to send me to your facility because my insurance doesn't cover it and you're lucky I can't sue you for how I was treated after all I got out of it was a massive bill. I wasn't given a choice in the matter because someone else lied about my panic attack and said I was psychotic.
For the welfare of your patients, please sell your facility to someone who actually cares enough to do background checks on your employees because therapists should know the difference between a PTSD panic attack and a bipolar manic episode. I was treated like a homicidal maniac and it's a well known fact "all bipolar people are dangerous" is a myth.

Update!!!
I left this horrific nightmare of a place in paper scrubs with below zero wind chill!!! Why you may ask?
Be cause they lost my pants and sweater that I came in with!!!
I was given a phone number to call. I called 4 times leaving 4 separate messages. Have you heard back ? I certainly didn't.
I was promised my clothes or a reimbursement.
If it wasn't so pathetic like this toxic institution is, it would AK most be laughable..
Shame on all of you.

I recently had my mother placed under your care; and I am appalled at the "Care" given. Her medications were switched around so much she is in a state worse than when she came in, she came out with bruises all over her body, which I can only assume is due to her being beaten. She was given a black eye and only taken to the hospital the NEXT DAY, where they there did a full body checkup to find out she had a UTI, which they then used repeatedly as the reason for her mental state, releasing her...

Staff are molesting patients and intentionally oversedating patients with sedatives or other unnecessary medications including intentionally using chemical reactions to prevent patients from being able to have a normal mental state with no access to personal belongings until they are faced with complaints

This toxic institution was a nightmare from day one till day 5.
They are nothing but numbers crunchers.
How can a psychiatrist value his career while giving zero therapy!
Dr Olivia should be ashamed of himself.
Accusing a patient of threatens because she admits being released will be suicide .
Shame on you!
Resources?
I was given a name and incorrect phone number as RESOURCES!
THIS PLACEshould be shut down.
