Hello, my boyfriend and I arrived in Chicago two months ago, we are immigrants, we are having a hard time getting by and our resources are over. Our rent is due this end of the month and we cannot work until now. Is it true that this organization could help us? If anyone here knows of a shelter where we can stay and can help us in the legal field or can help us with some work, I would appreciate it if you would reply.

A stranded traveler a it is termed...in Chicago half way back to DC from Missouri, real recently. No one could help me per se, the shelters were full and I accessed public transportation to the YMCA to shower and change. The close YMCA appeared permanently closed. I had funds for one night at Cambria Hotel, my health is not good...I rested with personal cares yet to take care of.

This place employs my child's abusers! I made number of efforts to connect with them for help. They protect the abusers. I have videos court documents and DCFS paper work. It is a shame that Catholic Charities would protect people like them and turn their back on 3 innocent children one of them having a severe intellectual disability. Simply sad
