I wish I could add photos. Inside the detox unit needs cleaned and disinfected. The high touch surfaces were filthy. Carpets need cleaned much more often than they have been. There were no doors on the bathrooms in the rooms, nor could the room doors be locked to ensure no wanderers would walk in. This is a mixed sex (coed) facility. The rooms have a 3 1/2” thick mattress with a 1/2” think pillow on a plywood frame that is sealed to the wall and floor. The room floor was dirty and sticky. If...

So incredibly grateful for everyone that has been there for me throughout my recovery journey. I really miss residential lol. Not only were the staff there absolutely phenomenal and amazingly informed, but most really enjoyed what they were doing. The kitchen and food was five star most days. On top of all that, I got to have my own room and bathroom, queen size bed, vaulted ceilings, and flat screen tv..But, I am extremely grateful for the monthly Alumni events that we have. It's one of the...

My experience at Buena Vista Chandler location was great. It really helped me. I would recommend it highly especially the BHT staff in residential and detox as well as Millie BHT, Kelsey on the nursing staff, Drew, Eric and Joe counselors really made a difference in my recovery. The food was great they accommodated my nutritional needs. The whole experience was really good and the rooms on residential were clean and all to yourself.

So here I come, their secret shopper. So far so bad. They cannot even answer their phone at 8am on a Wednesday. Rest assured people, I am not just reviewing these guys for fun or clout, they are actually being graded. The mixed reviews, will by the end of my communications with them be debunked one way or another. Also, their state funding is on the line. No worries, I can assure you that I am qualified for this review and after 101 rings and no answer, it's not off to a b ight beginning! HEY...

My significant other was recently in the residential program and overall loved it besides the management aspect. He was very upset after he over heard the lady that runs the facility talking about the funds of the company and being “down money” and needing to “just get people in.” Per staff, her name is Lyn. I found this offensive as we aren’t just “people to get in.” On top of that, we have commercial insurance and after overhearing this, it wasn’t worth the bill sent to us… $20,000. Don’t “...

I’m a licensed SUD therapist working in the E Valley who was working with a client who needed detox services, so I referred her to Buena Vista. Once there, I tried to contact her and coordinate care. With them which the staff blocked. Calls to administrators weren’t returned. Ultimately, she discharged to another facility without anyone’s knowledge. As an AHCCCS provider, I wouldn’t actually need an ROI to coordinate care. Will NEVER EVER in a thousand years refer a client to this garbage fac...

This place absolutely changed my life. I tried for many years to get my drinking under control and simply couldn't. I eventually moved to Arizona tried detoxing alone again and couldn't. In less than an hour from calling them, I was at their facility. In-take took less than an hour and I was detoxing comfortably under the best medical staff in the nation. It was a very easy decision to transition over to their 30 day residential program. My private room was immaculate, the food was phenomena...
