I spent 5 days here for a surprisingly bad case of foodborne illness (my first ever time in the hospital). The nursing staff were all extremely kind, considerate, and supported me in every way throughout my recovery. The medical team was extremely responsive as well. I would say that the hospital administration should invest some resources in better maintenance of room facilities--my shower was barely functional, and the faucets in the emergency room bathrooms were practically unusable. O...

I was a patient recently here & as always I got the absolute best care from the surgeons, doctors and nurses. I had a very bad infection of cellulitis which was right down to the bone. I was discharged on a Thursday with a very bad wound that required a Visiting Nurse to come to my home in order to change the dressings for the next week or 2. The Brigham assured me that the Visiting Nurse was all set up & would be showing up on Monday. I got a call Friday at 4pm from a Dr that didn't treat me...

The place is questionable and I’m being generous. They charge for parking and in the stairs someone did number 2. They left it there all morning. Disgusting. The staff was nice but the Doctor was horrible. She was the only Dr. available at the time I made the appointment. Should have known better. Not personable at all. Was always in a rush. Dr. Wang didn’t even let me hear my babies heartbeat. The second time I asked she said “we will hear it next time”. I was 14 weeks along… On top of that ...

If your contemplating ab going or bringing a loved one here DO NOT DO IT. the doctors upstairs re great. The doctors in the ED are not only the most unprofessional ride along with some of the nursing staff. Other than being rude and degrading they don’t perform their duty or care. My doctor told me two days in a row to go here. The end result ? Being sent home both times with a cellulitis infection in an extracted tooth. With no pain treatment. The antibiotics made me sick but they didn’t wan...

I came to Faulkner ER twice now for the same hand pain. The first time they gave me some advil even though I told them several times that did nothing for my chronic severe pain. I took it anyways to make them feel better. The second time I begged for an MRI scan, because other tests for my pain were inconclusive and it was a last resort. The ER doctor literally told me he could give me one, but chose not to. He said they are too expensive of a test to waste on someone like me. He instead trie...

Today I had a total knee replacement surgery. I can tell you that this hospital, staff including nurses, physical therapists, and doctors were all fantastic. The surgery went very well, and it was one of the happiest days of my life! I cannot thank Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hosptial enough! I consider them “A Best in World Class Organization”.

Checking pain in my chest and back. Pushed me into an empty waiting room and left me alone there for 30 minutes without any way to communicate to anyone. The heart pain was getting stronger and extending outward. Also, I was left alone on an EKG in the room for prisoners without any means of getting out, or calling for help. ER was filthy with greasy dust, dried blood and vomit on the walls and in the nurses station. Personnel in the admitting overnight rooms were obnoxious. Yelled at ...

Absolute worst hospital, and I’m going to specifically call out general surgery and interventional radiology. I had 3 ports within less than 10 months. 5 ports in total. The second port (first port placed by them) the surgeon placed it under the scar of my first port instead of going on the opposite side of my chest. Even after making 10 unsuccessful attempts to place this port. He should have just placed it on the opposite side. He prepped both sides of my chest ! The third port (second wi...
