Really terrible parking for employees. they have tons of parking for patients I have to walk almost a block each way into my building even though I have a handicap permit. When they built a new parking lot near the flagpole we assumed they would add handicap spots closest to the building which they did not sadly. Some of us who have major medical issues have a really tough time getting in and out of the buildings. Just really poor planning from someone overseeing these building projects. Plea...

I spent 5 days in the step-down unit of the hospital and received the best care ever. My team of Dr's and nurses were the best of the best, and I felt as though I was part of their family. Excellence was achieved day in and out. Thank you for providing the best team of professionals in the state.

One of the best VA medical facilities in the country. I'd be lying if I said I didn't have problems with some providers, but by and large my experiences overall have been incredibly positive and respectful. I'm lucky and privileged to receive care from the Boise VA.

the emergency room receptionist was unhelpful and extremely rude on the phone. healthcare workers should show empathy which she clearly lacks. i would recommend training staff to pick up calls with respect.

Everyone, and I truly mean everyone, that I have encountered at the Boise VA has treated me with kindness and respect. My own family doesn't show this much interests and concern about my health and welfare. I'm still alive because of my team. God bless.
