My daughter went to Belmont Pines 2 weeks ago in crisis. She was severely depressed and spiraling out of control. The only help she received was medication. She did not get an adequate psych evaluation or an acceptable aftercare plan. She said the patients mostly did crafts, and hung out. She also said that there were a lot of fights. She was discharged after 5 days with meds and to return to school based therapy. When we disagreed with the plan we were treated with such disrespect. At disch...

The patient was happy and came out better than they went in. However, discharge took over an hour. When the discharge nurse came they said he was an add-on for the discharge list even though it had been planned days in advance. When I complained to the assigned social worker, they brushed me off saying to talk to the receptionist. It wasn’t the receptionist’s fault.

Released my 9 year old daughter from residential treatment without any established aftercare and will not respond to any contact trying to get her the proper care established. Made no recommendations for care beyond local facilities unable to handle the complexity of her case. Multiple times during her stay we were told there was no patient by her name when we would call to try to speak with her. Repeatedly did not provide my child with her own personal items when they were brought after conf...

Worst "medical facility" I've ever seen. Building is dilapidated, staff are rude, doctor never should've been given a medical degree. 0 communication with parents, 0 treatment just medication adjustment, no home plan whatsoever or plan for post-release care, just "we changed her meds, good luck!", which is why it's my child's second trip here in a few months. Just absolute garbage top to bottom. Go literally anywhere but here. All they want is your $, kids mean less than nothing to them. If t...

If I could give 0 stars I would. Horrible place, my daughter felt so much worse after getting there than she did before I took her. Most of the staff are mean and treat the kids horribly. She cried the entire time she was there and no one (staff/adults) even bothered to check on her while she was there, the only ones checking on her were other patients/children. I ended up checking her out AMA after arriving for visiting and seeing how distraught she was and literally begging me not to leave ...

My daughter was there for 7 days. When I tried to call and speak with her during the morning allotted time I was told that I could only talk to her in the evenings. When you call up there you either get transferred a dozen times or no one in the back answers the phone. The first time we went to visit her they forgot to bring her to the room, so we sat and waited for 20 minutes before she finally was called down. Visitation is only 45 minutes. We never did get to talk to a doctor. They chang...

I was a patient at Belmont Pines from January 7th - 11th. The staff here treated me with disrespect and neglect. I was not given a pillow until my 3rd night here. The psychiatrist there only gave me 5 minutes of his time and misdiagnosed me with several mental illnesses that were later found to be false. My personal belongings were taken to contraband where they were not returned to me upon my release. The staff here are unorganized and irritable. I was placed with people in the 15-18 age gro...

Dtr was admitted in acute care. She was kept safe. However they lost her clothes on day one. So she sat days in the clothes she came in without anyone notifying me. Anytime we called we either couldn’t get through, or they spent most of the “allowed phone time” looking for her. Sometimes taking over 40min to locate her while I was on hold. Anytime we visited, most of the “allowed visit time” was spent in the lobby waiting to be let back. Even though we were only allowed 45min/day for visits....
