This place has changed my life. Every time I am in crisis, I know that I will get the best care from Aspen Grove. While in-patient, I felt safe, seen and heard by all of the staff. I am so grateful for this facility and all of the wonderful staff that have saved my life on multiple occasions. I know that seeking out psychiatric care can be so challenging, but coming here will be worth it! Every.single.staff. here will do whatever they can to help you along your healing journey. All of the pr...

Terrible experience!!! Not just for myself but there was a patient there who didn't want to be there (understandable) but since they wouldn't let her talk to a social worker or even her mom she had to go to extremes to try to get out. I watched her pass out and be put on an IV's because she wouldn't eat as a way to get out. She was put on LOS and the staff would verbally abuse her. She eventually was taken to the ER and I never saw her again but I hope she's ok.

Aspen Grove is an amazing resource in our community. As a mental health therapist, I feel very grateful for all of their services from inpatient to their Intensive Outpatient Program. It puts me at ease to know that clients I refer are in good hands. Highly Recommend. Thank you Aspen Grove!

Aspen Grove Medical Facility's handling of patient communication and care falls short of expected standards, raising concerns about transparency and patient support. - Communication Failures: The facility's communication protocols are severely lacking, as evidenced by a case where a patient's designated emergency contact was not informed of their admission or treatment plan. This failure to involve support networks in the care process can have detrimental effects on patient well-being and fa...

I admitted myself to Aspen Grove Behavioral Hospital for suicidal ideation caused by medication I had just started taking. The psychiatrist there, Dr. Brinley, was an monster. Our first visit he essentially told me that everything that was going on was my fault and that I was creating fake reactions to medication. He took no time to get to know me, and forced me on medication I wasn't comfortable taking. I admitted myself voluntarily and they refused to let me leave. I eventually filled out a...

This is one of the most terrible places I've ever been. Everyone in our unit desperately wanted to get out. They made changes to my medicine, that did not help whatsoever. There was ONE tech nurse to about 16 adolescents! There was LOTS of people talking behind other people's backs, and the rules, which are put in for a good reason, were being broken. This caused many of the people there to be hurt by other's words, and actions. It helped nobody. It was hell on earth.

I have referred several of my patients and my own family here over the last 12 years and have had good experiences. I have also had the opportunity to help here as a medical doctor consulting on patients regarding medical issues. I have always been impressed by the positive, happy and respectful attitude of the employees. They have never appeared angry, overwhelmed or negative. They use kind and helpful and respectful speech in their interactions with patients, families and providers suc...

My daughter came here in 2022 for suicidal ideation and self harm. I am forever thankful for this facility, and the wonderful caring staff that took care of my daughter and helped her get the help she desperately needed. A year later, my daughter is doing significantly better and still uses several of the coping skills that she learned while reviewing treatment here. I am so happy I made the choice to bring my daughter here. I feel like I did her a huge favor, as a parent, by bringing her to ...
