Beautiful community facility offering counseling, case management, food bank, job seeking, pharmacy, cafeteria, and a variety of classes including fitness, dancing, and art (and probably more services I'm not aware of). Serving all populations, not just Asian. Remarkable art throughout the facility. Main parking lot and secondary lot across the street.

Deserves zero stars. Avoid this place. The ACRS callously, cruelly discharged me I had been a client there seeing a really good counselor until she quit the agency for 11 months. However the former counselor did not consult with me about who would be replacing her once she left. My case was assigned to some counselor who lacked: compassion, patience, caring, and overall skills. She was like talking to a tree trunk. However the former counselor did not consult with me about who would be replacing her once she left. My case was assigned to some counselor who lacked: compassion, patience, caring, and overall skills. She was like talking to a tree trunk. The replacement counselor set an appointment however she was 3 1/2 hours late. It was a phone counseling session. All she said was that 'it was an emergency' and she offered little to no other explanation. When I tried to get answers that was when I was told 'You've been discharged'. What kind of agency just kicks vulnerable people to the curb? Tried to file a grievance which I mailed to them. Later on I was told that they never received the grievance. Sure. This place is terrible I don't blame the former therapist for leaving. I sure do miss her b/c I developed a bond that took 11 MONTHS! ACRS was wrong in how they treated me because I sure didn't deserve that. Avoid, avoid this place unless you want your fragile mental health broken into a million pieces because most people in Seattle are fragile with LOTS of the substance abuse. Good thing I have a strong mind. These clowns really need to sit down to go over their procedures. & policies. It's horrible.

I don't wanna talk bad about any company or business or treatment center. But I had the worst experience with one of the housing case managers (Rae)! In my opinion, he doesn't have what it takes to be a housing case manager! He made an appointment with me, and never showed up! I left several messages in 4 or 5 days but never returned my calls! he didn't return my call until I talked to his supervisor named "Kelly". He pretended like nothing happened, didn't even apologize! Basically, t...

Basically, they both didn't want anymore caseloads! If that's the case I understand but I couldn't understand why he kept blowing me off! What's the point of making an appointment if you're not gonna show up? Wow!
It happened between Dec. 2019 to Jan. 2020.

Terrible initial call with this practice. They sent me a confidential survey asking for a brief explanation of the situation. I provided a response as wanting to get help on being able to trust more and have better long term relationship. However, at the very beginning of the 1st phone call, the consultant said we are treating for depression, right? I said no, not depression. She said she's been seeing many patients and mixed up. I totally understand, though she should not have asked that so...

Terrible initial call with this practice. They sent me a confidential survey asking for a brief explanation of the situation. However, at the very beginning of the 1st phone call, the consultant said we are treating for depression, right? I said no, not depression. She said she's been seeing many patients and mixed up. I totally understand, though she should not have asked that so quickly if she was not sure. During the call, she does not appear to show any empathy at all, and just wanted to place me in a mental disorder category and write me a diagnosis for my insurance to cover the sessions. Also, she had many other questions. I was shocked by the way she was talking and went silent for a bit without knowing how to react, she kept on saying hello, hello, can you hear me... I felt totally disconnected with her.

This was quite a while ago and I’m shre many of these people are no longer working there, but I suppose it’s time. The counselors don’t know what they’re doing or how to treat clients. They have a cafe that’s kinda like an unpaid internship except, the experience you get is far more worthless than in a standard unpaid internship. In other words, you earn money for them for a $50 gift card every few weeks. I’m pretty sure Lilian Mak no longer works there but she was so petty, childish, and hi...

In other words, you earn money for them for a $50 gift card every few weeks. I’m pretty sure Lilian Mak no longer works there but she was so petty, childish, and highly unfit to be working in a mental health agency, even if it was only in the part of it that exploits their clients.
Oh, I forgot to mention. I didn’t want to be part of that training program; I was pressured by my counselor. Most of the people I met here should not have been working in this field.
