I've been twice now and both were a very good experience for me, the food was always good and the kitchen staff where very kind when it came to my own food aversions, I loved the staff and they were always kind and checking up on me, some of the staff weren't as great as others but it was still a pretty okay experience, I got on meds that help me and nurses were amazing for getting me into the doctor when they knew I needed to see him. If you're in a crisis I'd try to get placed here, both ti...

This place is comparable to jail. I left feeling way worse than before. One of the counselors had an attitude with me almost every time. I’ve been to two other mental hospitals and they were NOTHING like parkside, Mental health facilities should not feel like a prison. Patients come there to get help not leave in distraught with ptsd. They wouldn’t let me call my husband either bc they thought there was a no contact order and there never was. Oh and another funny thing is almost all the staff...

This place is a warehouse for hospital ERs to send patients to when they can’t find placement at anyplace decent. It’s like a jail. I complained about the harshness of it and the staff there told that I was the one who went and got myself detained, as if it were comparable to being arrested? Seriously you are supposed to be there for help. It’s not supposed to a punishment. They didn’t even have a doctor?

This behavioral center needs additional training and better processes for its patients! My family member was attended to at this specific location and was released after 5 days in worse condition, this office failed to follow proper court procedures, I'm extremely disappointed, and I feel they should revisit their training and care procedures, even after attempting to provide feedback to their director I was ignored so I'm forced to give a public review. If you have any family members or any ...

I was an involuntary admit into the "Crisis Center". The staff was amazing as was the food. I was in a world of hurt, and they helped me. They really need to provide a secure outside area and outside viewing. You cannot see out the windows, which hinders stabilization, IMO.

I was transferred to this treatment center with little to no information about the facility and its treatment. Upon arrival I was stripped of all belongings including items the website says are acceptable. The website specifies the treatment as the least restrictive however phone privileges are limited, personal items are locked in a safe, and there are not any visitation days despite the websites claim. Further, the nurses gave me 3 different medications to sleep at once and neglected to pro...

Needs major update very depressing inside! and no wonder people check them self out as soon as they check them self in! We dropped off a family member. It seems like something from out of the 60s very sterile feeling not at all comfortable! The reviews were bad, but it was our only option as our relative was on state pay. Sadly Private pay facilities don’t per law allow state pay clients even if they have a donor that will cover the cost

Probably one of the worst places to send anyone to. Most of the people that are there are withdrawing from drugs and they treat their patients like prisoners. My gf went here for a week and it’s the worst decision I have ever made in my life. Not only did they diagnose her with an anxiety of all things when she’s bipolar/schizophrenic but they held her for a week just so they could waste a week of her life… she came out worse then she did when she went in.. this place is just in it for the mo...
