Initially founded to aid veterans with alcohol addiction, it has expanded its mission over the decades. Transitioning from a focus on alcohol rehabilitation to encompassing a broader spectrum of addiction and behavioral health services, ARC became a non-profit in the 1970s and has since relocated to Medford. The center now offers a range of services, including medically monitored detox, mental health treatment for co-occurring disorders, and specialized residential treatment for women and new mothers. With a significant campus in Medford, ARC continues to adapt its facilities and programs to meet community needs, including plans for a drop-in Engagement and Mobile Response Center.

I have mixed review about this center. They really helped my boyfriend thank you for being there for him and caring. For him and accepting him. You offered a safe place for him to become sober and also assisted with a difficult surgery he had to undergo that would have definitely caused a relapse if he was outside of your program. So I am grateful. But this place needs help so badly. They need funding and a really really strong administration something you know as soon as you walk into the de...

I wanted to update my review that I posted a month ago, after a formal investigation of my prior complaint was examined necessary steps were taken to correct the situation at hand with upmost professional and caring staff, it made me proud to be part of the ARC again. We would like to personally thank Sabrina and Kim for stepping up and personally involving themselves until this issue was resolved. This program is so important to society as a whole. The integrity of these women shows that th...

This so called recovery center kicked my son out on the street the very same day he was to be enrolled. All based on false accusations. After fulfilling all the requirements they had given him and moving all his worldly belongings 400 miles away, he was rejected and left homeless. I would highly encourage you to look elsewhere. These people aren’t trustworthy enough to deal with people in crisis

The experience I personally had here was wonderful at least it was at the time I went 3 1/2 years ago. That is why I referred a friend there over On-Track I thought you guys were the best, but the greeting my friend got when they got there was mean, rude, unprofessional & angry and was told told there bed was given away. Now I do understand that things have to be done appropriately and rules have to be abide by but you think an explanation would be in place for giving their bed away in a dec...

Went to the ARC for DUI treatment, my counselor showed no interest in my success, refused to answer the phone, refused to return voicemails, refused to return emails. She discharged me several times over the course of 6 months, making me constantly restart the program. On top of that, she attempted to pass me off to two other counselors, neither of who's job it is to handle DUI clients. The counselor seemed more interested in socializing than doing her job. I ended up seeking service through ...

You follow the right guidelines. Learn how the system works and take responsibility for yourself things will work out. Excellent service. I brought a friend (veteran) to this facility and they were extremely accommodating and helpful through the process of admissions. They sincerely care for people struggling and are thankful you've come in.
