Camino Nuevo, has been my cornerstone for my continued and successful recovery. I do not believe I would have had such great results and met and worked with the professional staff and friendly and helpful resources a.ade available for the clients. God Bless the services and outreach programs at Camino Nuevo.

Worst place you could possibly go for addiction help. Not only is there constant drug dealers trying to sell you drugs when you immediately step out of the building, but also they lie to you about what the medicine can do for you. It does NOT help with chronic pain, despite me being lied to for 3 years told to just keep increasing my dose until they finally said I couldn't go any higher. Then they make every excuse both legal and illegal so you can't see a doctor to go back down on your dose....

There should be an option to give them -50 points. Since, I wouldn't recommend this place to my worse enemy!! Clearly, as time goes on, you can see all the nice reviews were from years ago. No nice reviews in the last 3/4 years

This facility is a very sad excuse for a treatment program I would never recommend or send my loved ones here. First off you can’t get a hold of anyone so if you have legit concerns or questions good luck to you. It’s almost like they hold you prisoner they do not want to allow their patients to grow and better their lives as they claim so if you need to work or require them to do anything extra for you it’s not going to happen. The councilor that i had the pleasure of listening to spoke to m...

This place is a joke! I've been to other Promessa Clinicas in NYC that were a lot different. This location at 175 Central Ave in small any is like a homeless camp with a Methadone program behind it. The staff doesn't care or most likely are overwhelmed with patients and underpaid. Had a family emergency & couldn't get a staff member (not even a janitor) on the phone! Use as last resort.

Methadone maintenance is the gold standard for opiate addiction for a reason. This stuff works, in addition I’ll add my counselor Katie is a straight up G. She truly cares about her clients. The rest of the admin staff is lovely as well. Our dosing nurses are fast and friendly. The only negative is the head nurse zaria or whatever, she leaves ALOT to be desired to say the least. How she is a medical professional at all is honestly a mystery.

(Edit: This place has continued to be a blessing in my life. I am still clean, 5 years now, and am in the process of coming off the medication. I highly recommend this clinic and I want to say thank you to everyone who works there.) This place saved my life. I had been an addict for years, was in and out of detoxes and rehabs, but this place (and a whole lot of determination) finally got me free from the hell of addiction, and have now been clean for over 2 years. The staff is great, the gro...

I started going to Camino Nuevo in early June of 2015 and it's been such an amazing experience. If you want to change your life for the better and you are ready to take that step, this is an amazing program to get into. It's not just a methadone clinic. They currently have out patient and intensive outpatient services and will hopefully soon be doing higher levels of care such as inpatient. This isn't a cop and leave program. You have to go to group meetings and work on a treatment plan with ...
